Is the backhoe loader a thing of the past?

I give up. Who wants to buy my backhoe then? New Holland LB110, 6700 hours, servo controls, soft ride, 40k, hydraulic quick hitch and four buckets. Agri registered.

I went through it all, did every single oil and filter, replaced all the wear pads in the boom and the slide. Replaced bucket pins and bushes. Back end is pretty tight for the hours. All tyres are like new (one rear is)

£18k no VAT. West Sussex.View attachment 64030View attachment 64031View attachment 64032View attachment 64033
That because of sticks or just not enough time in it?

That’s a nice buy for someone there, you’ve obviously got it well up together, but You’ll have to hand your ’backhoe boys’ patch back though😟
The union jack is the only thing that I don't like about it :)
What's the hoses hanging down in the photo with it working ith fullstick out down the bank?

No idea. All been tidied up since

Get the kids out for some Saturday outdoor time (with a can of solvent!) and peel the stickers off!

I'd love it, but it's a 14k machine as it stands right now before the slump that's happening, and I've spent my backhoe loader money on a university course. Sadly the only thing the backhoe has a use for with me is odd front bucket jobs and I now have a matbro for those 🤣

@Storrsy would be a machine for him, but he won't make his mind up I promise you 🤣

@Storrsy wants a newer (or older) case style external dipper for a thumb IIRC.

14k would barely get you a 90s site master…

Problem I have found over the years is that New Hollands and Fermecs dont hold their money as well as a 3CX there resale value is much better. A good 1990 big hub Turbo grey cab will still fetch 10-12k a 1992-96 sitemaster with rack and pinion backhoe will make anything from 13-17k and the later project 12 machines start at about 16 and go to over 20k, At the moment I am looking at a 98 project 12 turbo and thats 16k which is reasonable if i could get it for 14,500 -15 I would be happy. I would say current climate 16k would be what you get offered on what you are asking If you tidied the paint up a bit then you may get more but like you say the more you time and money you spend on it does not mean you are going to get it all back when you come to sell it.
