Reading this back, I think you might be overthinking this, no disrespect. If they break in, they break in. Better they take a cheap genny than anything else. If petrol is the issue, then get a diesel genny. Plenty of cheap diesel 6kw gennys available. If anything goes wrong or it gets stolen, you can hire one locally anywhere no problem. You could even fit it in a frame to the back of your loader.Has anyone any experience with these? I’m toying with the idea of fitting one to my loader.
One type of job we do we run electric conveyors and take a generator with us, but it is petrol and the rest of my stuff is diesel and I’m always paranoid leaving it overnight in the back of the van in hotel car parks, so wondered if a built in one might be the answer.
Hydraulic Generators
Hydraulic Generators convert hydraulic flow from existing machinery into compact, quiet and reliable AC or DC power.www.hydraulicgenerators.co.uk
Going from diesel engine to hydraulic pump to hydraulic motor to alternator to electric motor is introducing huge inefficiencies.
