Hi reckon that the case 750 was american built too 850 was our version the 1000 was a terratrac which case bought out last one i saw was in gainsborough many moons ago

First Drott I operated was a 100b with that bucket. No ROPS or cab, I once had a lump of wood come over the back of the bucket, bounce down the arms and hit me. I can’t see the attraction of no cab on a loader.

Never had a hydro static cat it is smart looking, cut up 2 BTD6 3 B100 1 125B and a B125 this year hatefull things to cut up but cant keep them all

Looking back to say early '70s I would guess about 40% of B100s round here were bought new with no cab of any kind (they were an extra).

Sadly spares are now very difficult to find for old IH machines, often all need the same parts. Oddly there are clutch parts to fit some of the UK built stuff - guy in Idaho I think. Tarmac used to run 943s very good machines, pity Cat stopped making that size - I guess there was just no market for them.
Anybody know much about the smaller Hanomag loaders? I gather there must have been a UK dealer because Gravesons of Carnforth ran them in the 60's Mr Graveson wanted a 955 (at that time it was about 9 ton before they slotted the 951 in to that size & the 955 became bigger) but could not afford one. Bought the Hanomag & said as good but much cheaper. Bit of info I found below - can translate via Google.
Good points about the machine, track frames do not pivot on sprocket shafts, all clutches & brakes oil cooled. Actually the loader version had non oscillating frames integral to the loader base frame (as the 933 loader). Dozer version had oscillating frames & equalizer bar. Some later small ones had a hydraulic shuttle reverser option (but no torque converter- maybe an inching pedal?)

I keep plenty of parts for IH and others as i still keep a few dozen spent most of my life in them you do get attached

I'm pretty sure early (at least) 955's were also non oscillating frames, along with at least some Komatsu. On some machines it made it much easier to renew sprockets (at the same time as the chains) without disturbing the rest.
Sadly Muckyman, I just don't have the room to preserve a Traxcavator & the fact that there is now no hire market at all for one makes it impossible even for one to cover its costs let alone any profit. JD 450 at one time had a BTD6 blade he was going to restore - always hoped he would - he might need parts. Couple of machines I turned down but would have restored / preserved if I had the room were an original Cub crane / dragline & a Smalley 10 semi spider - the last very rare.
Re the loaders I think the MF 200 was non oscillating (actually designed in Detroit but built Italy) Both the 200 & JD 350 had at one stage the option of a foot clutch & gear shuttle or Hyd shuttle with inching pedal. Think both machines quite similar in design. JD 350 had all clutches & brakes running in oil from '70 onwards? Cat 951 introduced 1961 went all oil cooled from '64 I read - so no doubt a development of this.
I'm actively looking to move at present partly to allow me to run some small stuff - not a Drott though.

Everyone else is putting up photos of crawlers so heres mine. 1950 TD9 5 miles from original home amd I'm owner number 3 (only because dad passed away) got the original correspondence letters from when they traded in the previous crawler for her a TD6 off the top of my head. Petrol start Diesel
