I read that somewhere recently too ... hard wired phone'll be non existent .... some killing'll be made replacing anyone who has a hard wired phone with a new handset/receiver -- you can bet they'll be bloody expensive too
And absolutely rubbish ones from bt are as we had to change as a business the handsets dont work very well lots of time people can't hear us or we cant hear them
Dad has a proper phone on his desk but connected by Ethernet cable to router that ones fine but the rest are rubbish

This is the speed checker this morning,it does go up and down, but never below 20meg.

https://www.three.co.uk/shop/broadband/coverage-checker

This is what i have.Been using for 2 years. Both times i have cancelled the contract and re signed a new deal to get the 6 month discount.
We both work from home 3 days a week and the young one watches Netflix all the time. Its been great to be honest.
I changed last month to the 5g one as the mast serving me is going 5g soon, and the deal was on.
Plus you don't need to send the old router back, you can sell it as well.(£50)

There is a business version aswell.

They do park and ride from surrounding silage fields but it’s always bad getting in, parking attendants this year were shocking though
Same old nobody cares about doing the job they are paid to do

The old fields they used to use right next to the entrance have been sold off for development and now got housing on, young farmers son who’s bit of a Groundworker sold them on inheriting got £10m for them allegedly. Now running rd in brand new valtra tractor and broughtan trailer with new Takeuchi.

So they’ve had to push out a bit further afield.

Used to be a big local plant hire firm big in the quarries called Barry woods based not far from hillhead they’d provide all the setup man power and logistics on the days. But they got bought out by Scott’s then went bang few years after despite barry still living in the house by the yard but not being in charge. So don’t know who they use now but parking lot were not local I’d say Birmingham or Bradford firm.

My mate with the fastracs lives just near rugby club/book shop where all cars have to
Go via he couldn’t get out this yard on the Tuesday and Wednesday morning for queuing traffic
