That’s what I would call an ordinary 5 pin relay. The one with two 87’s is on the diagrams that Gecko posted, and is an unusual one I think.un the relay it shows 87 and 87a (center pin)

Bingo - we have a winner! It isn't the ignition on buzzer is it?
I've used that style when adding relays into headlight circuits. That’s what I would call an ordinary 5 pin relay. The one with two 87’s is on the diagrams that Gecko posted, and is an unusual one I think.
Am not 100% it is sorted yet but i am hopeful that it is that cable, although it still seems strange that the fuses for the lights do not blow when the 40A one does, but hey what do i know lolGreat stuff, we’ve booked a coach to Spain next weekThank god it was only a minor electrical issue

SPDT ....... 30 supplies to 87a (NC) or 87 (NO) .... or vice versa ... can't recall which way round, but 'flip flop'un the relay it shows 87 and 87a (center pin)
like James ... I've never seen one eitherI've used that style when adding relays into headlight circuits.
(first time was a 2A 109)
The two output pins is convenient for running a separate wire to each headlight.
yep, have had that on a crane .... took a while to work out it was actually the switch 'cross talking' across its contactsJust a thought- someone mentioned a Lucas ignition earlier. I once had an ignition on my forklift that started blowing the fuse as you turned it (between positions). Might be worth eliminating this.
