Help please Fuse popping

I remember flying in to Carcassonne as a kid and finding it hilarious that the firemen where sat waiting in the fire engine as the plane landed. Then jumped out and unloaded the baggage. And then sat behind the security desk to check passports. Flew into there again 4 years ago and it hadn't grown much

2 x work lights on the front of the cab both working perfectly none on the arm.

Mick. |Do you know if the little black box under the relay panel is an immobiliser or an ECU ? I dont have a keypad but dont know if they use the key type immobiliser, TIA

Hi yes just found the wiring for the boom light its in a bit of a mess, this is the best picture i can take of the box at the moment, i will un bolt it and take a better one tommorow, also the main key and a spare.

Firstly that is original wiring to the black box, the key is a chipped immobiliser key, the boom light wiring is an issue, but should be switched, but if the roof lights are working and it’s on the same circuit, then it should blow a fuse when switched on, unless it’s been wired direct to the ignition!

ok, so is that box an imobiliser or an ecu ? ok i will check the wiring to the boom light tommorow, at the moment i have no issues with the cab lights fuse but i will check if the boom is live when i switch cab lights on. I only have switches for cab lights and one for the beacon that i dont have.

fair bet it's going to be tied in with them then .... give it 150psi of air to blast it out

will do but i dont think thats my problem.. still find it strange that the 2x 15A fuses blowin (other that the 40A) are on loads that i dont have on my digger ( wipers and blower) yet they have fuses in them ???

pretty fair bet that the loom is there though and if the plugs are all in the same state, it'd be worth finding them, blasting them out and covering 'em up - shrink wrap or tape a placcy bag over them ... AND pulling their fuses

If you remove the 15amp fuses does the 40amp still blow?

pretty fair bet that the loom is there though and if the plugs are all in the same state, it'd be worth finding them, blasting them out and covering 'em up - shrink wrap or tape a placcy bag over them ... AND pulling their fuses

it just seems strange that accessory wires are blowing that have nothing connected them but the whole thing is very strange so ????
What should i try tommorow ?
Am going to look at that boom light wiring
