Spent my school summer holidays back in 1974 ish down on a farm lake where they were using Two engines and a bucket to dredge a large lake, I think it was Luggs from Billingshurst they did a lovely job way before we had Amphibious 360 machines like C J Gray have. Love these pictures. One grandfather ran a ploughing set, the other was an ‘ossman. My Dad ploughed his first furrows with Shires before he decided an International starting handle was less scary than spending all day worrying about when the horse’s tail was going to twitch.got some similar pix of a plowing set up from Bridgewater show many years ago
