The current route of A level politics followed by PPE at uni is clearly not working.
The old days of going up to varsity and then into the house also didn't work once the vote was opened out.
We really do need a system that truly represents the majority of the people and gives them the confidence to accept the others without feeling threatened

Yes we can all wax lyrical in hindsight but arguably most serious thing to hit us since ww2.
I dread to think what would have happened if we had the starmer and co at the.helm then. Prob still be locked down and been told how we were leading the world in net zero face masks.

Agree. I didn't mind Boris at all, or Sunak for that matter- he didn't really get a fair crack at the whip- but I think the majority by that stage were on a witchhunt with the Tories

Sorry……I think you are wrong on both Boris and Sunak. Neither were true Conservatives. You have to go back to Blair being the last full term(well nearly) and before that it must be Thatcher that actually served her terms. And on that note Thatcher would be the last proper PM that we had. The rest have all been left of center in my opinion and that has been to the downfall of this country!!
