6mm Polycarbonate ... or the real McCoy ... depends who/what's the easiest for you ....... the poly'll last years

Poly is cheap and easy and will last years, although obviously scratches easy. A lot depends on the geometry of the pedals. Do your boots touch the glass when tracking? If so it will scratch first time out.

Im missing the rubber seal was the only thinking with the plastic

I used polycarbonate sheet in the bottom of the door on my old 801.
Glued it in with black butyl rubber which cam in a cartridge from Wickes.

put a layer of goo on the metal and pushed the plastic to bed it down. Then put some masking tape on the outside of the plastic about 1/2” from the edge, applied more black goo and smother it off. Once tape is off from 10ft away you don’t even notice it’s not the proper rubber.

This week has been a change to last -5 last +12 this t shirt weather, laid some slabs Monday then wallers been in doing the stone wall so we’ve been cropping and supplying them with stone. Broke a weld on cropper using it to split 18” by 40” logs haha kind of splurted some hot metal into it

new trailer had first proper outing and Takeuchi is eat a fan belt riddling some stone, wet one today here.

New rake bucket, sadly didn’t watched @Gunners video before I ordered it or I’d have got the Hardox dig bits one. Had it set up to go on both 3 ton and 1.6 ton so have a front 35mm pin turned down to 30mm for 98mm of its middle section then a 30mm rear pin at centres for mini. Sadly the couriers lost that pin lol so waiting on another one. Used it few hours yesterday clearing up some builders waste piles to make a lawn area. How I haven’t had one for all this time I don’t know, cracking bit of kit.
