Sadly I turn the isolator off or you can’t shut the tool box with the handle in position

470kg - it’s a fair lump!
Agreed. My personal view at the time was that it was overspec'd for the intended use. A lot of the components were shared across the range with the result that the 3000mm beams in use on 20 and 30t machines had the same web dimensions as those for machines far smaller. On the plus side, you will have difficulty breaking it.......

I called in IW sales in Corwen last week, to pick some parts up.
I`ve been thinking about getting a tilt bed and asked on the off chance they had a stock one, they didn't and said I`ll be looking at autumn for one 😲.
Last year when I asked it was 20 week wait, so didn't bother then, never mind 8 months.

Black with salt mines bigger than that as well haha
That’s the old shape one - it is the same size as yours though (12x6 is the biggest tipper they make).
I’ve just sold one identical to the picture to a lad who works for me for £2k - he got a bargain by the looks of it (it was very beaten up though)...

That’s silly!! too narrow as well to be much use. Mine was 350kg - 2meters wide and that was on its limit on a 5tonner swinging around, it’s now on a 8t and suited well.
getting a lighter one made around at 1.85 meters wide.. and 230kg 👍🏼

Just be a little carful you don't make it overly light mine is a little on the light side and you can see the front bar flexing while your using it I've added a stiffner between the bars and it seems to have mended it it just needs prettying up and putting 2 on instead of one in the middle so it doesn't catch the towbar when it hung on the blade of the duck

I'm not sure Molson have got the spec right TBH. Pretty sure this is a 1500mm unit in which case I think the weight should be around 330kg on S40. 470kg plus is what I would expect a 2000mm beam to weigh. Don't be tempted to go much wider than 1500mm on a 5/6 tonner tilty BTW - you can wreck the rotation drive.
