I haven’t needed it yet as we’ve been on job with mini, plus Hydraulic Brake specialist has been away till 11th jan to buy the air over hydraulic I need to convert it so it’s sat in the yard really. I’ve bought some lights and other bits for it but won’t need it for a few more weeks. Time pour at mo with moving houses and full work schedule.

Gatley surfacing laying down the blacktop for us at the rugby club, and rebar overkill for retaining wall. Max rebar guns make it easier though

You just have to make sure you turn them off before they completely drain the batteries or the chip in the batteries won't let you recharge it

Yes you can give them a "jump" from a charged battery and put them on the charger if you let them draw the battery's dead flat though I believe you will be fine if you take the battery's off as soon as they go off it if you leave them on that you can get into trouble.

They look a handy little light though 👍

Have you tried giving the dead ones a jump?

I've had it a couple of times with with the charging cap for charging a phone off a drill battery it's only if you leave it on after its done the first stop that lithium battry's do

Tried jumping off another dewalt not tried the welder trick etc or the double voltage trick

left them on for 3 days as well

funny thing is multi meter says 18v and will run my dewalt work light and leaf blower but not drills or saws or smart tools

Yes just don't let them get to dim
It won't be like other li-on tools that stop dead as that chip is built into the tool to stop over discharge

If like makita batteries there's a chip in the battery. On a makita the chip tells the charger the battery is dead and so won't charge it, maybe the dewalt tells the drill not to work?

I have some dead 36v dewalt batteries.... seems to be a trick of theirs 😡 shame the batteries are silly money because I have a range of the kit and its o.k for what i need.

I had a pile of dead makitas , weighed them in eventually! Cordless circular saw finished them off.

try jumping it with a full charged battery, poke a wire in the 2 outer (check with a multimeter) clips which are the +/-

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
try a reverse polarity zap ....... amazing what that'll do for a tired lead acid battery that won't take a charge ...... blows the salts off the plates ... but do it flat
