it is not ab bad as you think as you dont have to balance them and place with care you can chuck them about a bit and with the recess can be laView attachment 20694yed with a soft blow hammer

loads of info on the collingwell web site and have a look at allen block on YouTube loads of stuff from how to install to ideas for steps ect as far as price goes you will need to call coniwells on Monday as prices change i suppose it is transport cost but £70.00 + a m2
it seems expensive but it is a finish job and quick to build once you have the base layer in

it is not only the time it is its a finished job no rendering or facing . if the wall settles 10 mm no big crack down the block work and the wall keeps its strength and if you wanted to go mad in a few years you could take it down and move it win win

Interesting looking at the data sheet. Just shows that whatever system you use, there is no cheap solution when you start heading over 1.5m high with all the work involved.

that's the Mutt's nuts Mike ... take it the poly's gonna live on top .... assume that is a hell of a slab under them ... nice finish on those blocks

There is a slightly different finish to one side, dunno if it's to do with how they are made or a deliberate thing, the other side is slightly smoother

I'm more impressed with how you've fixed them to the concrete and to one another, must be some hella strong bolts

There is a slightly different finish to one side, dunno if it's to do with how they are made or a deliberate thing, the other side is slightly smoother

one side wil be the mould bottom .... the walls're top / bottom / ends and the rougher face will be the top of the mould box, probably hand finished
