I bought a rough old xs750 (shaft i think) when i was 15 ....my old man wasn't impressed :( could get 3 on it :)
they were a nice motor ....
had an XS850 once - mate's brother's - absolutely mint ...
my old man saw it and said he'd love it, so let him have it, for what it cost me --
came home a few days later to find him loading it onto a van -
he'd sold the bloody thing and scored 500 quid profit on it --------
I WAS NOT HAPPY !! --
I'd bought it to ride 😤 🤬

Love a good bike powered lightweight " buggy" had the privilege of taking of these up to the Isle of Islay on a private 2 mile beach, where we built a track for some elite customers to have a birthday bash. ZZR 1400 engines, Quaife lsd diff's with reverse, bike gearbox, the white one was road legal the black one is full certified racespec. absolute weapons and you just couldn't stop smiling while driving.
