For electric commercials, buses, bin trucks etc could be made to work, they travel a set route of know time and distance, and return to base at the end of each shift, providing there is enough power to recharge them. When I did the tank in local bus depot guy I was dealing with it asked about the electric busses.
He had done the sums and over the life expectancy of both types the electric after I think 3 years was the financial choice even with the larger up front cost
Imagine a system where they got power from cables overhead...or rails in the ground? For electric commercials, buses, bin trucks etc could be made to work, they travel a set route of know time and distance, and return to base at the end of each shift, providing there is enough power to recharge them.
Imagine the cost that this useless government and the main contractors will make that system too expensive and not fit for purposeImagine a system where they got power from cables overhead...or rails in the ground?
