that's amazing guys ... wonder why ? :unsure:

" Common English animals such as the weasel and the mole do not exist in Ireland, which also has no snakes."
" It is believed the reason why there are no moles in Ireland is because the sea level rose quickly during the Ice Age which meant the animals, like several other UK mammals, were not able to make it across the sea. "
from google

only in Ireland :rolleyes:o_O:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

" Derry has plenty of mole repellent but NO moles

DIY retailer Homebase is stocking mole repellent in Derry despite the fact the animals do not exist there. " :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I’d argue the no snake bit, come across plenty of two legged ones over here 😂

“have considered introducing Mr Mole to some propane and a match ..... the propane'd lie in his tunnels, being heavier than air .... plus two bites at the cherry .. either gas the bugger or blow him up ......
lawn may look a bit s/hand after though :oops::oops:

I knew someone who did that but the tunnel went under the fence and diagonally under his neighbour’s lawn.

None at all.... never seen or heard of them here

I've an uncle up sticks and moved to Scotland many years ago. When visiting a number of years back I mentioned the mole hills in an otherwise pristine lawn. He was the first to tell me that he only came across moles in Scotland, as mentioned there are none in Ireland.

Interesting story he told that it was something in the Irish soil which they didn't like. I called it for a tall tale, but read a few years later that when football grounds were returfed, (before the days of artifical and underground heating and irrigation I would imagine), the turf and bedding soil were all imported from Ireland. The reason > it kept the moles away.

Who knows, interesting theory tho'

And you would be able to use the Drema and Tilty on the lawn without getting told off. In fact it would be positively encouraged 😀😀
