bloody chilly start to the day yesterday ....
early kick off ... Clara's arrival at eight .... Vicki in school for the day yesterday .. no kids though !!
on line school for Clara in the morning .... toddle up the drive after lunch ..... and she had half an hour in one of her favourite spots ..
pony feeding ....
had a morning out in Hereford this morning ...... snowing like hell when I left at 7.30, but came to now't ... allowed an hour for the usual traffic .... was there in 30 minutes .. unheard of at that time of the morning, so shows the traffic's a lot lighter ... snow coming down hard again ATM .......
Nice little earner for us both ..... Russ was off to Newport by 10.30 for another quicky job ...
an' I had a major hit on a supermarket ... was there and passing it .. had to be done ..... don't/won't need to go anywhere for a month, other than the village in a couple of weeks, to top up on the milk.
shop was quiet, with car park about 1/3rd the usual, or I'd have thought twice about it!!

I’ve been from Cheshire to Scunthorpe and back via the Wirral today taking in 300 miles including long stretches of the A500, M1, M62, M6, and M56 and everywhere was bloody busy - no different to a normal day from what I saw.

aye was bitter here too Jim .... nothing thawed ..... Clara was chucking sticks into a pond breaking the ice, when suddenly there was a wailing .... and couldn't understand what she'd done ....... 'til I saw her woolly glove attached to the last stick, poking out the ice
....... fortunately it was close enough to the edge for me to recover it

's why i hit the supermarket ... we needed a shop and i was there, going past .. one trip out and killed several birds with one stone ... earned some coin, spent a lot more on scoff (and moggy food), fuelled the motor, sack of peanuts for the birds, on the way home ... next essential'll be MOT next Thursday for the P38Ah but was it an essential journey.

Nothing thawed here either. You forget what that looks like. I imagine it's the kind of climate the soldiers in ww2 suffered 44/45 imagine camping in fox holes in that weather. Were they even allowed fires on the front line?!
