And...Aber has the world's largest plier collection...albeit now painted gold.
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
with a load of blokes running 8 MIG sets daily you needed plenty of pliers and side cutters to keep those migs pouring it out LL .... had quite a collection of hand tools ... prob.s 40 sets of Visegrips, several dozen G clamps of all varying sizes, rack clamps, Hammers, chisels, you name it ..... a lifetime's work assembling a shop to tackle just about anything

but was forever buying 10mm and 1/2"AF spanners ...... they just evaporated, no matter how many I bought .... must've had 600-800kgs of spanners up to about 4"AF .. but could never keep the usual suspects hanging on the wall rack

Glad you find that funny Mr. Elderton ....... was always the usual suspects and don't think/bloody sure they were('nt) getting pinched .... they just evaporated ... I trusted all my guys implicitly ... all had keys and their own alarm codes ... and had a virtually free run of the facilities ...... it never got abused ... were as good as family

Seem to have the same problem here Gra. I now buy packs of 3x10mm & 3x13mm spanners. Problem is, I'm the only one with keys or who goes in there :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I'm religious about putting me gear back, after use, even these days Charlie ... and still have to search through the 6-14mm draw for the 10mils ..... they seem to migrate to the bottom and hide  ..... Clara may have a small collection of 13mil.s growing 'praps ......... she's the only one who goes near my spanner draws .....
EDIT
didn't see that link in your post ... that's cheap enough Boyo (y):cool:

I have this set
It means it's easy to take the spanners to the job and really obvious ones missing when you tidy up and don't have to wait till next time u want to use it to find you haven't got it
Also happen to be really nice spanners to use really ergonomically designed

That's the only way to fix it, is to have slots to pop them back into.

Of course that's fine if it's just you working in there, but falls apart quickly if you let others at em!

Simon me mate, who I do bits for, for his Bro's factory has been after one o' these for ages .....

for a bit of a project ........ has huge quantities of ash to deal with in the coming months and fancies creating summat along these lines ... but trailed and PTO shaft driven ... tow to where required type thing
always the same .... what you want always comes up at the most inconvenient moments and Ilkley's a fair trek from here .... would be handy to have somewhere to park it for a week or two, 'til we'm all allowed out to play a bit more safely again
any suggestions welcome .... waiting to hear back from Shipleys too, but this'll be going 7ft square on a truck bed.

That’s about an hr and twenty mins from me. Problem is I don’t have anything that could lift it and wouldn’t want it sitting on my trailer for too long.

let me know if you are really stuck.

Not close to York but if you get a viable quote to get it to GL19 I can unload and store here. Not so far to move it on when restrictions end sometime in the next decade!!

It still appears to be if it is work and you can't work from home just crack on. Thats how I'm playing it anyway, although Scotland shutting the border looks like it might be an issue. We will have to wait and see how it works out.

yeh seems to be the case ...... Simon is 68 and is still keeping his bro.s place functional .... they produce animal feeds/supplements/all sorts NAF | Equine Supplements | Supplements for Horses (naf-equine.eu) and are able to continue working, so in theory can move about un-hindered... but tries to perform responsibly .... and is obviously very careful, given his age. If we can get it shipped sensibly it'd be the preferred route TBH, rather than gadding about the country.
