I deal with this incompetence daily, my job is selling you guys parts to keep you all moving, we use DHL, FedEx, APC and various pallet companies, not one of them is more than 70% competent at doing their job's and the customer services are all horrendous, nearly every time you call them you get someone who speaks pigeon English at best and doesn't care, customer services are the business equivalent of infantry troops sat on the front line as cannon fodder, they are sat at home not an office anymore, saying "sorry for the problem" while yawning and watching some daytime drivel on TV, when you ask to be passed on to someone that can actually help they can't do that either, because there isn't anyone else in their front room with them. " someone will call you back in 4 hrs"...... 4 flipping hours, it NEVER happens.
FedEx are one of the worst, now they absorbed TNT they use the American way of F everyone else we'll do as we please and hide behind the self satisfaction that you can't afford to pursue this through any form of legal challenge against a multi million pound multinational company.
There is no wonder I am bald and have high blood pressure, I have incompetence to the left of me, upset customers to the right and the road ahead is blocked by depot management that fudge delivery details so it looks like there are no problems to regional management and customers, some of what we see happen is tantamount to criminal fraud, they will say deliveries have been made on time, or business closed on delivery attempt, or even get drivers to sign for the consignment saying delivered and then deliver it either later if it was time sensitive or next day, for 2 reasons, 1 is they haven't failed a delivery which will effect depot productivity figures and thus the depot managers bonus and 2 the worse reason, they wouldn't have to refund the customer for their failed delivery if the customer doesn't know, which I believe that could be classed as Fraud by false representation or Fraud by failure to disclose information.
