spent a couple of hours on the phone this afters, talking with the MRI bookings desk girl - she was great - tracking down the 'doctor' who actually DID arrange my MRI, his consultant who authorised it, then her PA who found my results files and promised to send them to my GP surgery and they can then forward them to the consultant neurosurgeon in Caerrrdifff.
they hadn't had them at half four when I called them, but they know to look out for them now.
had some comms with the clinical lead in the LSDU in the Heath and she's sent me some updated tel no.s for the neuro dept. too, but all shut down for the long weekend now, (aside from A&E, which I have no desire to spend any more time in , for the foreseeable)
body still feels the same and the best description I can give for the underlying tissue/muscle that the chairs from hell PO-ed, is like acute / really bad sunburn - touching it is not pleasant and bloody uncomfortable all round
's gonna be a long weekend ... paracetamol / ibuprofen doesn't seem to touch it and don't want to resort to anything stronger ATM

Morning Gra, having read all your reports about the latest health problems, can I wish you all the best buddy
And hope that you get some answers to your obviously rare and complex problems
Both Sharon and me have had and/or have various health niggles and the NHS can be frustrating to get things moving/diagnosed
Rest and pause for a while and no you don't need a FLT while you have that Drema

Wow, is that the rate these days, and that’s for worn out and knackered stuff. As good quality cutting tools, which is no doubt what Druid has , it’s worth 10 times that.

If his carbide tooling is worth £90/kg the Drema is worth £200/tonne.

Let’s hope that the tooling and the Drema have had so much use they are both worn out and knackered when the time for their sale comes.

cheers all ..... it's odd

still can't feel the outer surfaces of various bits, but the deep tissue in my left bum cheek feels like it's been cooked under the mid day sun for a week ... stinging like ferk .. a struggle to sit/lie on it.
one positive is I can feel my left foot again this morning
go figure?

Schwan cells are the 'insulation' round your nerve fibres (like the insulation round a piece of electrical wire) ...
my Schwanoma is an 'overgrowth' of the schwan cells round the nerve bundle to my legs, where your spinal cord divides into two for them at your Conus.
