Blackberries best here in August. Never touch them in October. I was always told that you shouldn't pick blackberries in October as the Devil has spat on them! (Just googled it, its okay he only spits on them on the 11th Octoberyep - apple and plum trees were mental - plums were impressive last year, but surpassed themselves this year ... hawthorns're all RED and huge quantity of sloes too - lorra blackberries but very small

When I saw the blue signs, I knew it would get interesting. On farms that hadn't been to I'd phone the farmer to double check the preferred access. And I'd got the best TomTom LGV Sat Nav, which I sometimes had to ignore. By the time I hung up my LGV Licence, CPC and Driver Card, I knew just about every farm in East Anglia![]()

Next thing you know you've 40 strays patrolling the house and you're known as the crazy cat lady.
My old man always drummed into us "A bargain is only a bargain if you need it, otherwise it's your money lining another mans pocket and not making you anything." Thought he was only being tight at the time, but I've come to see the wisdom of his words.
Perhaps Pam's right, do you really need another?![]()

got five more to nail in tomorrow, after me hamster juice in the morning ... then it's drop the cross brace flats on it (this is the under side) and start juggling it about to consolidate it all -- could down hand all the verticals, but'd be a lot easier and better penetration with it stood up on the bench and really burn it into those RHS walls
Pam couldn't get over how big it looks, compared to the old one .... it had better be 10mm smaller all round, to make sure the bugger goes in the pit without a fightthe pit is not the greatest
