Not ever one likes cats but I like having them about. Lost my 2 within 6 months of each other last year (aged 9-10). Yours will leave a small hole for a while :-(. My wife got a rescue kitten last year who keeps the house alive and her happy. View attachment 61177

have always had cats and grown up with them .. they're my 'kids' .. but you're right, they're not everyone's choice of pet - I have however had some real stars over the years --- little Sparty being one of 'em - talked constantly - understood everything you said to him and had such a gentle nature ... Clara loved him and he reciprocated. ... we still have Squeak, who is still waiting for Ginger to come in each night .. he turned up a day after I buried one of my older cats, several years ago and has become a very gentle cat ... Harper pulls him about mercilessly and he's never raised a paw to her ... very often comes and seeks her out and sits beside her, smudging for attention he's 16lbs and too big for her to pick up, but she still tries ... he just stands there and takes it

Cats……my Ex who I still Co own the farm with and the property company is known by my daughter as “The crazy cat lady”. She used to have 11 cats. All off spring from a feral farm cat that took a chunk out of my hand when I finally caught her to go in for the Op. When she moved up the road, all the cats went with her. After about 6 months one of them kept appearing back at the farm. My wife relented to it looking in through the car flap. He was transported back several times, eventually he knew to hid when the Ex was here!! He is now officially our cat and spends most evenings sat on my wife’s lap!!

by ten in the evening, it was looking pretty angry, hot to the touch, red up beyond my elbow and I went in to the local A&E in Aber.

We have plenty of things in Oz that will kill you - snakes, spider, crocodiles, sharks, feral pigs, mosquitos etc, but ffs, we don't invite them into the house.
