have always had cats and grown up with them .. they're my 'kids' .. but you're right, they're not everyone's choice of pet - I have however had some real stars over the years --- little Sparty being one of 'em - talked constantly - understood everything you said to him and had such a gentle nature ... Clara loved him and he reciprocated. ... we still have Squeak, who is still waiting for Ginger to come in each night .. he turned up a day after I buried one of my older cats, several years ago and has become a very gentle cat ... Harper pulls him about mercilessly and he's never raised a paw to herNot ever one likes cats but I like having them about. Lost my 2 within 6 months of each other last year (aged 9-10). Yours will leave a small hole for a while :-(. My wife got a rescue kitten last year who keeps the house alive and her happy. View attachment 61177
