one to make a few chuckle ....
Pam cleaning the kitchen units the other day and her usual kitchen cleaner just wasn't 'cutting it' so went off down her garden tool shed, where we have a box full of various cleaning products and came back with some sugar soap, which blitzed the job.
I'm looking at it after and realise it might just be of pensionable age ... amazed it's still so potent and working great ... read the bottom of the label

yeh went down the tubes here in '09 as Woolco, but Woolworths continued in Germany (German owned) .. not sure if they still do though ...... just looked and over 630 stores in Germany, Austria and Poland

As I've said before elsewhere I have some hyundai machines, good where it counts in things like engines and performance is fine, its the little things that show the cheapness- switches, cables, handbrake on the stump grinder, that sort of thing.
I'd imagine that would be a perfectly serviceable tool but I'm not particularly bowled over by the price. Don't think it's necessarily over priced just doesn't seem that cheap compared to a good used mucktruck.

Have you ever thought about a Sherpa/Opico type mini loader? I love using my Giant around the yard, so handy for moving awkward/medium weight stuff around with the convenience of forks or loose stuff in the bucket.
Bit expensive for a glorified wheelbarrow I suppose but Opicos come up for 5k every so often

I'd imagine that would be a perfectly serviceable tool but I'm not particularly bowled over by the price. Don't think it's necessarily over priced just doesn't seem that cheap compared to a good used mucktruck.

Have heard decent things about Hyundai kit before ..... don't like the mucktruck drive system and the vertical crank set up .. horizontal crank is a way easier proposition to replace if needed and twin axle chain driven each side has to be preferable

that's the issue with a skiddy loader ... can buy old bobcats for a lot less, but they all make a mess on anything soft ... I appreciate that that (and others similar) are also skidders, but way lighter and bigger carrying bin.
other option is a quad and trailer (which I ain't short on), but cheap quads're usually bollo-ed ... would be handier on a range of fronts though

Funny you should say that about a cheap quad- I picked up a 2014 300kvf kawasaki brute force 2wd on Monday, been on a private estate where my Dad does a lot of work, well looked after, used but not abused.
It went into the garden machinery place they use as a non runner, had the coil replaced and a battery, still no go. The next options are the stator and the cdi unit, but the owner decided to p/x it against a new one. So all I had to do was match their offer of 500 quid and its mine
Shouldn't cost me more than about 300 quid to sort and I'll have a really tidy little quad for not a lot of cash.
Oh and it'll be on brand new wheels and tyres as they run it on grass tyres so we'll be swapping!
Not sure what I'll do with it, got a bit of work that it could be useful for or I may move it on.

only 2WD though .... Ross had some very cheap 2WD quads new last year, but only 2WD ... right handful to get off a slick surface if stuck and exciting, cross slope ... still very cheap for a kwaka -- might be worth a look at the kill switch and wiring

2wd are fine if they are light weight ones. 4wd only becomes important on big heavy machines or dragging other stuff around.
