This is our trio scruffy is the white one not so good now at catching anything now he's a tripod not that he did much before the accident and didn't give a dam his leg didn't work and loves getting lagged in CV grease from under cars hence the name
IMG_20190909_225154.jpg

The tabby is the main destroyer of the local wildlife around here
And the black one lives the winters indoors and same in the summer bar this years summer has taken to disappearing all day and night unless it's feeding time

:giggle::giggle: .... they eat from the same dish :oops: ... there's a pecking order here .... each have their own dishes, but if Sparts finishes first, he always wants a look in Squeak's, in spite of him being three times the size of Sparts, he always stands back for 'seniority' -- the biccy dishes are a free for all :giggle: ..... they get on very well though and Sparty has always been 'very good' with all new comers ... he's a lovely natured animal .. they both are.

Yeah all three eat out same dish at same time was not caving in to serving them all individually it's ideal for flea treatment when all in one spot 🤣

We have just the one cat here, Tinker (no pic handy sadly), quite elderly now and very few teeth. She does drag in the odd mouse now and again, she's adapted to life in a much more rural location than where H used to live.

We did have another, a Tom (called Baby) who was a bit retarded, he was the runt of one of Tinkers litters and he moved with us to W-U-E, but went missing. No idea if he got hit by a car or just took off to pastures new!

We have one black cat just like Druids. He turned up at my brothers house as a walking skeleton and claimed asylum. He fed him up from being a walking skeleton to being a bit on the thin side. We then adopted him about 8yrs ago and continued the procedure.

He is now refereed to as ‘the fat lad’ - the cat that is, not me brother 😀😀

The cats view is that food comes in packets and does not have legs which it uses to run away. Toys on the other hand sometimes have legs which aren’t yet broken when he brings them in the house, and they do try and run away.

For a none cat household my wife spends a lot of money on cat food. We have 3 farm cats that are fed outside. Thankfully the Border Collie doesn’t chase cats.....she just follows them!!

What would be the purpose of it, or is it just one of the fascinating things that someone has just stumbled across?
