https://hyundaipowerequipment.co.uk/hyundai-hyw4000p-4000psi-petrol-pressure-washer

fed up with p*ssing about with piddly little 'cheapo' washers
Annovi Reverberi (AR) pumps seem to have a great rep. and spares seem readily available
puts out great pressure and'll 'pick up' from a drum/ibc/whatever up to 2m, or gravity feed
light enough for Pam to handle, it's an easy set up and really puts it out, so'll speed up 'washing' dramatically with 15l/min and 4000psi (y)

have been satisfied with all the other Hyundai stuff I've had/got, carries a 3yr warranty and are likely to be about in 3 years too :giggle::rolleyes:

I have a big diesel Hodna powered beast, but it's a lump - very good - but a lump to handle and is currently tucked away

I’ve got this one bolted to the top of an IBC. Works a treat and will run a small jetter

got a 50mm dirty water pump with a Loncin on it and it's a great starter/runner, but at a grand more for that beast, it's a tad over budget  and a.n.other handful BTLs ... the Hyundai ain't gonna take up a lot of space to store either.
never used a lance with interchangeable nozzles - what they like? (I've a few spare lances too, anyway)

also considering one of these .... might be a bit more enthused to spend more time in me boxes as the weather gets colder .. they're like cold rooms once the temp.s drop (as they're starting to do) and my (old-er/ish) bones aren't as keen as they used to be, to getting cold

again all opinions gratefully received
Get an infrared set like this.
Ten times nicer and less hassle. Got a few now lads love em.
A blower like that would heat your box and then some in 2 minutes flat 🤣

I've got 1 had it for around 7 years.
Not used constantly had something go on it around 3 years ago can't remember what but was not expensive.
Engine went south 2 month after I had it they found something in there that rekon was my fault ended up paying another 200 quid ish.
But plenty of power, starts 1st or 2nd pull

exactly :giggle::giggle: ......and fill it with heat, then shut down for a while ;) ... only really efficient form of leccy heating is fan heaters, but all leccy heaters are not cheap to run at 26p/kwh - that'd be 57.2p/hr, on continuously and'd need to be stood next to it ... the blower is 1.9lt/hr - continuous - you'd be naked and sweating like Gary Barlow's accountant with that on for a solid half hour in a box, which'd equate to around the same cost.
I have a couple of super-sers under the bench in the tool box, which I occasionally fire up if it is REALLY cold, but bottled gas is equally 'spensive.
TBH not a fan of convector/radiant heaters full stop - but thanks for the suggestion and input (y)

this wouldn't be either - couple of times a month 'praps ... bad luck on the engine though and glad to hear it starts so well

I bought a turbo nozzle as an extra and occasionally I try one of the 6 that came with the washer …. And always prefer the turbo nozzle .
Loncin is noisy, but to be fair it always starts!

Why not just use your Honda Derv unit and make it portable …. Trailer on back of quad? Get a decent reel. Game changer

Druid, have you considered one of the Chinese diesel fire heaters? They come in a variety of sizes from 3 to about 8kW I think

Blown air heater in a container will take up lots of room and make your eyes water and also probably not work very well if the one I had is anything to go by.
Buy yourself a Chinese version of a eberspacher or Webasto. Upto 8kw and compact. Kero is about 6p per kw

it's on wheels already and is a leccy start (with a battery attached) .. just it weighs probably going 150+kgs
something like this one, but only two wheels and have to 'lug' the other end .. 's also a big lump to stash away ...... and it's currently three or four roller decks deep in me roller rack box ... with a lorracrud in front of it - 's a 'Drema job to extract it - on a nice dry day to get all the beds out of the way, in front of it (bad planning, I know, but not used it in a long while) - also have one with a Lombardini power unit, but that's even more buried at the very back of a box :oops::cry:
's a cost versus grief issue :( ..... oh and they're both incredibly LOUD 🤫

They are great. it's a pull-collar coupling, so swapping nozzles takes seconds.
As you can imagine, the wider the pattern, the less damage, but less power.
The quick swap encourages you to use the most appropriate nozzle.
Yeah often change mine too
