pissy wet start to the day yesterday

.... so used the morning to get a few 'errands' done ...
trip to town for Pam to collect her new glasses ..
and I trolled off to the Doc.s for me prescriptions and down the hospital to get me bloods done ...
they forgot to do 'em when I was down in Caeeeerdiff last and sent me the paperwork to get 'em done locally. Can just walk in to the phlebotomy dept., as long as you have the paperwork

.... place was dead .. usually manic down there.
Didn't clear up 'til late afternoon so not a lot done yesterday....
apart from a hunt for a tiny screw for Vicki ....
for her over-locker, which she'd 'butchered' getting it out to change a foot ...
got a box of misc. small stuff and having identified what I was after (M2 x 0.4mm x 5mm), I trawled through it and found two suitable candidates, but looking a tad ropey.

searched me taps and dies draws and actually found a suitable die to tidy up the two possibles ...
try running a die down a 5mm long, 2mm dia screw

... jeweler's loupe job!! ....
see how they fit tomorrow, when she comes up with Harper (and the over locker)

....
but have found some new ones on Fleabay with a hex socket C/s head, instead of the Philips, that got butchered and ordered a few.

Today's been a lot better, weather-wise ... dry, with the odd bit of sun and a damned cold S Westerly (unusually cold) blowing hard

...
so the MIG was left in the box

... did think I was gonna get well and truly pee-ed on about 4 o'clock ... went real black and thought
"here it comes" ... but it sailed on by

Got a few bits lopped with the band saw first off ..and tacked together ...
set out a few holes ... drilled 'em and captured a few bolts
trial fit ..

and firmed it all up .
then went hunting for a bit of mesh ...
and got that stuck in ..... MIG'd've been handy for that

.... then it was time for .........
sit it in spot
and re-attach yon oil cooler
well happy that it went together very well

.... had originally planned to park it right on top of the end of the chassis, but although do-able, was gonna leave things very tight for the plumbing, to come, so thought better of it and moved it out those extra 4"

posty arrived mid afternoon with this .....
can get it into the fuel tank tomorrow 'praps, subject to Harper's humour ... and hopefully sort a pick up and return system for the motor to sup motion lotion from it too .... know what I want to do ... just got to make it happen
