Unfortunately I don't think its that simple Brendan, I would need to do more research but I do know that your ranger, like my Navara, only has a GTW of 6000kg. Which with 3500kg of that in the trailer, doesn't leave much for the driver and any tools and or fitted accessories like canopies etc.@ollie I've been looking at this lately and only way would be to drop the tilty in the back of pickup which would mean going back to a roller shuttering or having a sliding floor to keep the canopy
SVTech can upgrade GTW to 7000kg if you fit air bags and the hitch is up to spec. Just need to work out/justify changing tyres to gain 80kg of extra rear axle payload then only have to process the paperwork and the 7t gtw is completed.Unfortunately I don't think its that simple Brendan, I would need to do more research but I do know that your ranger, like my Navara, only has a GTW of 6000kg. You'll have to change the towbar as its only rated for 6t gtwSVTech can upgrade GTW to 7000kg if you fit air bags and the hitch is up to spec. Been looking at this for my Ranger.
The sales guy told me once that they weren't suitable for rollers etc due to the wide spacings of the chimes.Honestly don't know only seen one in the flesh, only thing with it is, there is no floor in the middle only the sides for the tracks and front section for the buckets. So if you wanted to load something narrower you would have to add some flooring, also heard rumours that it's only suitable for tracked machines as the point loading if tyres would be too much although this could just be utter bull.
I couldn't justify the money for 40kg or so of payload.
@fred how did yours stand up for general use?

Do they have different Musical accompements. The sales guy told me once that they weren't suitable for rollers etc due to the wide spacings of the chimes.
YepDo they have different Musical accompements.
must/ve been pretty bloody borderline Fred .. that trailer is over 500kgs from memory
just looked and " Alumax Plant trailer is an industry leading trailer with a payload of 2910kg "... and as the cab-ed Kub is spec.ed at 2790kgs, it don't leave a lot for the tilty, fuel, etc. and some tish
It was on the the local dealers Facebook page.I don't think the Alumax is all aluminium, the chassis is steel for sure, think its the floor, sides, ramps and mudguards that are. And you can get a solid floor option but obviously reduces capacity. That Brian James is nice, where did you see that @CPS ? I'm in the market for a new trailer and Indespension don't make mine anymore.
I'm sure the ifor Gh1054 is cheaper and a higher payloadIt was on the the local dealers Facebook page.
I sent a message to see if a deposit would hold it, but they never got backmight call them tomorrow
