As previously said above all tilt rotators are good & as i have found out it all boils down to customer support/back up etc when needed which would swing the purchase either way.
My engcon unit developed electrical faults from the off, got fault codes looked at once but never fixed issues, then wouldn’t come back even with engcon Sweden putting pressure on him to fulfil his warranty duties.

Couldn’t find anyone else to look at svab unit issues resulting in me having to remove svab unit completely then re fit engcon’s dc2 unit myself to save costs & because we were in lock down.Thankfully engcon helped and supplied this at a reduced price cost and gave me remote assistance.

All in all it has been a steep & costly learning experience due to installer.

Cost isn’t the only factor when purchasing this kind of equipment....
Good point mate there other than the obvious one which is backup. Whichever brand tilty you go you're also now having to go with their own make control system (if you go the full fat route). Otherwise you can end up chasing a fault between too many different parties.

I think it’s like anything you buy, sometimes it’s not always down to cost it’s the customer service to back it up. Everything brakes at somepoint and it is nice to get it fixed quickly.

I believe Engcon are only selling new units via dealers now. Neil at Nasco is one and is a top bloke, will help and answer any questions almost at anytime. Can’t fault it.

That’s why I chose Engcon in the end (waiting for install),steel wrist never come back to me at all even after I chased, Rototilt were very good and helpful, not as many techs on the road but I believe that is something they are working on.

Engcon UK HQ is just down the road from me, so I could rock up anytime with machine in tow and say “fix me” or grab spare parts. That was quite high up the list of why they swung it for me. Just hope I made the right choice. 😁

No complaints about my Engcon, the black paint is now just rust, really hope they have sorted that issue out given the new cost of them these days!! but other than that it’s been spot on 👍🏼

Same here, I think they borrowed some black off JCB 😁 Makes it easier to touch up with the machine every year.

Not naming but pretty obvious as only one person i think instal’s svab in Scotland....

One thing i will say against engcon Is that they should not allow dealers/installers to purchase & install there products if there going to leave you high & dry when warranty work is required.

The way engcon bum these people up on social media almost makes you think they don’t care either,as long as they get a sale.
