Cheers Aiden,

feeder valve was changed as the svab valve wasn’t compatible with dc2 i was told.

Will need to look into the other points you have mentioned and get back to you.

Your advice is appreciated 👍

Have you downloaded the engcon app you can connect to your dc2 module and speed up or slow down the tilt and rotate to suit your needs might help you to find out if it's a lack of or too much from your machine just remember what setting's are before altering them
Also if you do indeed have dc2 try/ check it's on hammer setting and not 2 way aux as might be down to oil struggling to return to tank via valve block as dc2 don't need double acting

As previously said above all tilt rotators are good & as i have found out it all boils down to customer support/back up etc when needed which would swing the purchase either way.
My engcon unit developed electrical faults from the off, got fault codes looked at once but never fixed issues, then wouldn’t come back even with engcon Sweden putting pressure on him to fulfil his warranty duties.

Couldn’t find anyone else to look at svab unit issues resulting in me having to remove svab unit completely then re fit engcon’s dc2 unit myself to save costs & because we were in lock down.Thankfully engcon helped and supplied this at a reduced price cost and gave me remote assistance.

All in all it has been a steep & costly learning experience due to installer.

Cost isn’t the only factor when purchasing this kind of equipment....
Was it old when the svab starting failing?

Yes engcon have mucked about remotely with settings but still the same. Will check hammer setting as lever to switch over could had been knocked.,
Everything else works fine, grab under engcon, flail etc.

Just seems to be tilt function causing problems...Tilt function was causing problems running svab as well but that was electrical issues i was told in that instance....

Is this an ec02? If so is the tilt problem in one direction only?

Have some progress on engcon unit....

Turns out after all the blame games it was a defective “pilot operated check valves in the main manifold”

New manifold installed by engcon’s new appointed engineer in the area (still 5hr round trip) - However the engineer hadn’t been trained up to re dial/tune in hydraulic flows etc So still not great 🙈🙈

I Contacted engcon - “try tuning in urself”

After all the hassle and blame games would you not send a trained engineer and tell him not to leave until it is completely fixed ???

WTF 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

How’s the back up in Scotland at the moment? I’m not fussed about the colour but as we all know, support is everything!

Didn't someone have issues last year and the same with poor backup? Think it was installed by one of the big I stalkers too

After at least three attempts I can't even get a price off engcon for a tilty, even after messaging someone yesterday who was going to call me today 🙄

They are no dealing direct anymore unless you have a prior relationship. What size machine are you looking to have one fitted too?

Call Malcolm at Rototilt and buy one of those. I’ve got 2 and they are brilliant.

Been looking back at old emails before I bought the 8026, the rototilt is far keener on price although it was quoted as S40 direct mount and ICS?.
Not sure if they do s30 but also found another email saying they could not fit to an 8026 as pedal operated hammer line
