That is why Western labs are so heavily regulated. Scientists moan about it holding back research, but we still have escapes like the second BSE outbreak near Pirbright (although hopefully we learnt from that not to release contaminated waste down ordinary drains so the rumour goes). Unfortunately there are places that assess the risk differently and are willing for huge sacrifices of/for other people to gain a commercial advantage and show their system to be best.Have a read of this and see if it has a familiar ring to it
