New prices seem to be coming down. Had a price of a Wacker neuson ET24 with S30 hyd hitch- £27500+ that's £2k less than this time last year.
Actually starting to add up now!

I was quoted 31.5k for one with no aircon but hydraulic hitch buckets and twin aux.Sat in this today. Interesting machine. 34.5k with buckets/hyd QH and single aux. Blade float and stick steer AND pedals. All controls fully electronic so you can dial speeds on each service and swap to Backhoe pattern if you wanted
2800kg and not zero turn but probably comparable to E27 with its tiny bum? Everything seems easy to get to, whole cab tips up for access like a forward control truck.

Makes it seem a bit dear down in Devon. Allegedly you can run the blade on the RH joystick whilst tracking and steering with left?.I was quoted 31.5k for one with no aircon but hydraulic hitch buckets and twin aux.
Its a real peach to grade with but felt noddy with just a grading bucket and wouldn’t do any other function whilst tracking.
I meant whilst using the pedals! It wouldn't send flow anywhere else. Instant no for my kind of work.Makes it seem a bit dear down in Devon. Allegedly you can run the blade on the RH joystick whilst tracking and steering with left?.
250kg counterweight available for a price.
I wonder how good they'll be in 10 years time but time will tell. The valve block is electrically controlled Vs pilot hoses as is normal.ALOT of electrical gimzmos to potentially start playing up. They're made in China so you do get alot of machine and features for the money because that's what you can achieve when relying on cheap labourSat in this today. Forestry gear is usually electric servos and they run very high hours.I wonder how good they'll be in 10 years time but time will tell. As I say it might be fine- but wasn't really sure what was wrong with the pilot hoses. Less space I guess. Imagine if you got a mouse in there though- disaster.Forestry gear is usually electric servos and they run very high hours.
Allegedly better residuals on used CAT compared to other brands…. But sales always say what you want to hear …. Certainly doesn’t look like a headache free option for 10-20 years as per title, lots of software in there, even the joysticks have chips inI wonder how good they'll be in 10 years time but time will tell. yeh but are the sticks made in ChinaForestry gear is usually electric servos and they run very high hours.
Means the cab can lift up for access o suppose, have to say the layout was pretty sweet, loads of room around everything. As per convo the other day about BHL, CASE running electronic pilots in the 90s and seems to be still AOK. Friend of mine had to spend £800 for a new joystick / block on his Kubota 2.7t so I guess all options can bite you.As I say it might be fine- but wasn't really sure what was wrong with the pilot hoses. I’m 10 months away at the earliest from spending that kind of money.Might have a low houred 302 for sale …
To be honest everything seems to have pretty good residuals in the main stream brands. Tak, kub, Volvo, Wacker and the rest etc all seem to hold their money. It's like anything the more s**t on a vehicle be it car or machine the more to play up. Id sooner a more basic but brilliantly put together machine where the paint stays on and you don't get cracked welds Vs a hi spec machine where they've tried to cram as much stuff in as poss half of which is basically unnecessary to the day to day operatorAllegedly better residuals on used CAT compared to other brands….
