Pedal on hammer circuit.. correct. What machines that size have it on the sticks? On the Kx61 - im guessing all tilting will be off the pedal on hammer circuit![]()

Presumably not an option on the KZ61-3? What are the main differences between 027-4 and 61/3?If you are seriously interested in the KX027-4 then try and hold out for the hi-spec model because it has an extra aux circuit factory fitted. If you do ever decide to upgrade to a rotating grapple/grab then you will need this or you will need to pipe in a new circuit -- the issue with this is that the KX027-4 does not have a servo that can just be tapped into so you end up compromising -- this is what i had to do

Which for long term reliability and maintenance might be a negative thing?About 15 years of technology
Yup. However, I've heard it said on more than one occasion that the 027-4 doesn't grade nearly as nicely as the older machine.About 15 years of technology
Still not much to go wrong to be fair. And remember things perish with age as much as use.Which for long term reliability and maintenance might be a negative thing?
It was a Kx030 that i used that wasnt a patch on the old kx71 / 61 for grading.Yup. However, I've heard it said on more than one occasion that the 027-4 doesn't grade nearly as nicely as the older machine.
I agree that right now 16k could get you something nicer to operateStill not much to go wrong to be fair. And remember things perish with age as much as use.
I think your mate is pricing it too high personally.
Hopefully he's on here :-DStill not much to go wrong to be fair. And remember things perish with age as much as use.

This one...mate of mine likes his tiltys.Pedal on hammer circuit.. correct. What machines that size have it on the sticks?
This one with 7000 hours definitely a bit hopefull on price then (Local)Still not much to go wrong to be fair. And remember things perish with age as much as use.

100% thisIt was a Kx030 that i used that wasnt a patch on the old kx71 / 61 for grading.
Heard a few say it about that model.
Tbh my kx71 is feeling very agricultural nowadays - i would be going for a prop on the sticks , but it depends whatyou're used to or expect from a machine.
Think this will be high on my purchase list once extension is builtThis one...mate of mine likes his tiltys.
Bucket was a tad ott
But had rollers etc on the sticks.
Lovely little machine

Theres not a massive difference in the KX61 and the KX027 hydraulic systems. You have to go Hi spec on the kubota kx027 and kx030 ro get proportional rollers. You also need hi spec to fit a tiltrotator to as the hammer petal is linkage operatedPedal on hammer circuit.. correct. What machines that size have it on the sticks?
Had jcb rep phone today left message do I need anythingIts hard to know, its not so much a falling knife anymore most of the drops have happened, we see some prices have stabilised or they are a few examples of things going up since the summer.
The main issue is we cannot see a route to market with kit. There is so little export market unless stuff is very cheap.
The next issue is the amount of fresh kit for sale is a huge change from the last 3 years where you couldnt get anything.
If you have a 2021 plate or newer the compition is manufactures with 0% finance 3 years warranty etc etc etc
Thanks for that. Not something that is on my radar.. (yet) so KX61 would be fine.Theres not a massive difference in the KX61 and the KX027 hydraulic systems. Yes - on mine they actually removed the pedal completely (blanked it off)On the Kx61 - im guessing all tilting will be off the pedal on hammer circuit![]()
you too ,had dunraven ,and a couple others in the last fortnightHad jcb rep phone today left message do I need anything
I must say that although a pedal is perfectly adequate for grab/tilt use etc a roller on the joystick is far nicer to use and leaves the feet to sit on the track pedals, not doing the tap danceThanks for that. Not something that is on my radar.. (yet) so KX61 would be fine.
try a duck -- choice of fiveI must say that although a pedal is perfectly adequate for grab/tilt use etc a roller on the joystick is far nicer to use and leaves the feet to sit on the track pedals, not doing the tap dance
I tried a 027-4 briefly and seemed a well put together machine. Didn't spend enough time on it to do any grading but seemed smooth enough pulling it in an inch above the concrete- I don't think it would be a problem at all. Nice size can on it too.
I'm well impressed with my TB228 too. It's like the older TB125 to operate but alot nicer can and prop rollers on joystick etc. tis a bit weighty though for towing.
