So after a few months of near daily use and 1 mishap involving an Avant (not me) I can confirm these have been brilliant. No shouting or waiting for someone to appear, works great when using a breaker disc cutter etc.
We are contemplating getting a 3rd set for our part time girl as we end up 1 of us without come.
Would recommend these, expensive yes but makes work so much easier.
Only downside occasionally we've had to re boot the set as lost come but takes 30 sec from off to back on
Good to know 👍 cheers for the update.

Anyone know if I'd be able to pair a lighter duty headset such as the sena to procom for inside the machine?

we use peltor protec hearing defenders with microphone. Not cheap but great bits of kit. auto ambient so you can hold a conversation, works with iphone 2way app so infinite range.

I just want something a bit lighter on the head something with a thin band and smaller cups

What app do you use? Can you do a review? Didn’t know such a thing existed, but seems plenty of choice.

I find pointing at things and scowling at people from my cab is about the level of communication I require most of the time,if it’s a really complex job then a bit of swearing helps.
Drove machines with radios in years when I started out,I found being constantly reminded you are too slow,f###ing useless and being threatened with being demoted to a roller was the ideal gentle encouragement my young self needed to build my fragile confidence and hone my fledgling skills.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
use 'em regular with Russ ... had one in my hand this morning ... couldn't do the job as well as we do without them ....... waaaay easier than standing on a roof, peering into the guts of a building, giving hand signals :giggle:
