Ouch...but then again if you sat in a 50k machine in the scheme of things it's not a lot..🧐
Bit seriously once youve used them they really are awesome. Did rigging job and just been able to chat to climber alongside busy motorway was a game changer. No shouting the "wtf did you say" 😏

I use the sena head band sph 10 & have had a few for years.
They are perfect for using in the digger as hands free linked to your phone or when on site with the lads with senas on there helmets.
Today we had 2 lads on saws me in the digger & one lad on the green climber mulcher & we linked all the senas up in the morning & just chatted all day without having to stop work, when ever they needed me at the other end of the site they would just say & id track over straight away, no shouting no frustration of not being able get someone’s attention because of the noise.
Tomorrows job is putting a croquet lawn in so the first thing to do is give the dumper driver a spare sena head band & that means he will tip stuff where I want it & not where he thinks you want it, no hand signals, no swearing & getting frustrated.

Really reinforced today need for something operating the avant on high revs trying to communicate with 2 others was a nightmare, I think the Sena above would be ok in a 360 but the avant is a noisy beast when your on there, so don't know if they'd give enough protection either @1RB whats your thoughts?

Do they stop morons shouting? Some people wear ear defenders then scream everything they say rather than talking normally

I have a protos chainsaw helmet with a smh -10 sena mounted on which is the early sena but has really good noise cancelling compared with the smh -10 R that most of the lads have because they are slimmer but when on the avent I just mainly wear the sph 10 head band & can hear everyone talking alright

Wish I could get 1 stihl pro com and 1 sph10 to work as 2 sets of stihl bit overkill, even though I'm edging towards those if I can get my head around the cost

So after a few days of use I can report that we are happy with the sets so much easier when using machinery, we've used to about 80m with no problem with a few trees and hedges in the way

So after a few months of near daily use and 1 mishap involving an Avant (not me) I can confirm these have been brilliant. No shouting or waiting for someone to appear, works great when using a breaker disc cutter etc.
We are contemplating getting a 3rd set for our part time girl as we end up 1 of us without come.
Would recommend these, expensive yes but makes work so much easier.
Only downside occasionally we've had to re boot the set as lost come but takes 30 sec from off to back on
