Right, so I tried Milwaukee. M12 first. Utter dogshit. Snails pace. Then M18. Better speed but
still not as fast as my Makita drill operated model. Easier to bleed/airlocked less however. But both MIlwaukee guns have a fatal flaw. They keep oozing out for a second or so after you take the couple off the nozzle, even if you wait before removing, which drives me mad.
So yesterday the new Makita cordless turned up. First impressions are much better. Hellishly quick even on 'slow' speed- the second setting is apparently automatic, where it matches the speed to the resistance of the nipple. Sure pisses out without being attached. It's heavy- and the speed setting does something in the pump rather than change the motor speed, so lookes like a ground up redesign of the pump system.
The bleed screw is nice and easy to use. Still seemed a bit airlocked though (first catridge), but it has a lock for the trigger. If you leave it locked and pumping
then walk away, it's guaranteed to start flowing!

Everywhere. At the rate it pumps, it didn't take long to fill the hose.
So does anyone want a second hand M12 or M18 grease gun?
