There is no one Above there is None to the side, They are all Below I've been operating this for 3 years the only work done to it is ordinary service

No flaking paint, nice strong and smooth hydraulics,
Simply said It's the best you can get

You might well be right about the quality and it might even be the best you can get but I know a fitter who works for them and although he really rates them he still keeps pretty busy with repairs and not all of them minor.

Con-Expo! Spent a few days at Con-Expo. Although I didn't see as much as I'd like, it was More than enough time in Vegas for me. There was some neat stuff to see, but overall i felt like the equipment portion was more show than real inovation in equipment, Especially in the electric sector.

I spent a lot of time with Huddig. Getting to know the owners and few Engineers and sales people. What a first class team. I saw a trailer made by Berklmans Welding, In Canada,I really like. I think ill look into building one myself, or buying one when funds allow. It's a big investment.

No, I use it on my own projects in the winter months when I am not hired in to the company that owns this 920 that is not in operation during the snow months

A good week!! The sun is finally starting to show its face around here, and we are making the most of it!

We started the week backfilling the footings we poured last week, and tying rebar for the walls. With the mighty backhoe! Soon to have a S Coupler.

Later in the week we did some volunteer work rebuilding some youth Baseball Fields in Gig harbor. What a fun time that was! Laser box really coming into its own.

Rough Month. A Job we've been building this spring went bankrupt, and left us holding the bag on about 700K. There's been a lot of Soul Searching, wondering what to do, and while its ugly, I think we'll Survive. Had to sell a few of the excavators and D3 to make it work, but we are clawing for life. We are going to downsize back to a few operators and two laborers. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, it feels goos to have less of the crazy happening now,

In other good News, I've started a job in Big Sur California, Where I grew up, Which has been a Wonderfull relief from the financial stress. Happy to be home, and in the Pubs with the people I grew up around.

We do a lot of work mate. Monthly billing, and we can build about a million bucks of work per crew, per month. Lucky it wasn't worse, but still, almost put me under, hasn't been fun.

How many men and machines are in a crew? That takes some doing.
When I was contracting if we had £30k per gang per month plus material we could get to 100k. By the time someone was paying you could be in for another 100k. Had one client wobble so we changed our payment terms to be every 2 weeks.

Good for you mate, must seem crazy from starting with your mini doing first jobs not that many years ago to Doing $1m a crew a month congrats on that.

Your Sharp! five men and 3-4 machines, But the problem is really the materials and the trucking. Running 4-5 trucks a day, full of purchased aggregates, and buying Pipe, Fabric, and Block, pass through expenses are usually 50-70% of the job value.
