Best thing you can do with the dmax is have it mapped out to stop the oil dilution. If your doesn't do it, it will.

I also had it mapped for extra umph and it's night and day. Definitely worth doing. I did use the bloke who's raved about on the Facebook forums, he is definitely recommended and a very knowledge lad, I will be using him again. He does alot more than just remaps, he's proper mechanic.
Dodgy advice. Oil dilution is caused by HC dosing where extra fuel is injected to heat the exhaust and clean the filter. I’d question if the mapping is stopping the extra fuelling when needed for an regen and if you could end up with a blocked DPF. The oil dilution is more of a problem if you don’t drive far enough to get the oil hot.

I was nearly thrown out of a VW Crafter Facebook group when someone stated the Crafter are more valuable than the MAN TGE (same van) because of the premium-brand cache the name carries. They didn’t like it when I stated I’d rather drive around in the MAN than in one of Adolf’s peoples-cars…

Happens daily on Facebook groups about cars. It's hilarious when they buy X brand even though it's more expensive than y brand because it feels better quality. Then get upset when it is pointed out they are identical bar the front grill

It's had exhaust repairs as part of the process 😉😉

Part of the issues issue is the somthing starts telling the software to regen every 30 miles rather than 300. (Just used those figures as an example) if you look into the isuzu forums you will see how big an issue it is and been an issue for 12 years or so.

Every now and then a V8 Volvo comes up on eBay. They seem seriously cheap horse power for what they are.same as the VW phaetons that comes up with a V10 engine. Probably be outperformed nowadays by an MG crossover but must be good fun.
Mates got a 6.0 V12 q7 not been out in yet but something like 5 seconds to 60. The V10 was also available in the touareg

I think the 850 t5 was something like 7-8 seconds. For its time it was insane. Especially on a FWD. Builder I use to work with was a petrol head. He reckoned he could get up-to 130mph on his speedo just wheel spinning on his front drive. Not entirely sure I believed him :)

does gutting them out improve emissions?
