I never use them .. but the lads like them so as and when they wear out their traditional benders I replace with the monuments.I really want to improve the racking in mine, I just hate the dead space you get with metal racking where the side of the van angles inwards
Ref the racking , you can’t see the image, but the NS rack has custom shelves between it and the wall which provide storage (and more fixings). OS rack has shelves going almost to the wall and we use plastic tubs that are different lengths so uses most of the space. Newer vans tend to be squarer as well

Cheers to @DaveDCB for a link to a finance company. They have just come back with a quote on 2 year finance with a single figure APR %. (But only just !).
Might well finance the next one or two van purchased to ease cash flow a little. Spunking £20k +van on a used van would hurt the bank too much currently. Tis hard times
Rung up about a van last week and dealer wanted to talk about APR starting at 14.5%

Given the interest rate drops the finance comps are being very slow to react, you’d think they’d follow suite to try and win abit more work, but still I’m glad they came back a good 5% lower!!

There is actually a logic behind this. One of the many criteria required to successfully convert a van into a campervan (motor caravan) with DVLA is that it shall be easily identifiable as a campervan and have graphics. (Hence vans having stickers and logos on!)Don't forget the fake maxxtraxx screwed to the side...

I am extremely happy with my 54 plate Iveco. The price for me is eye watering. The list of work done under warranty with so little mileage on it is just as eye watering for someone like me that would like a van like that when it is more affordable at 15 years old!!

It's goneOur Transit pickup we are finally decided it has low compression issue and needs a new engineit's on a 67 plate and only 37K miles and we've already spent 5k on it. Doesn't seem like engine rebuild is a thing for this engine.

I'm saying you wasted your time with low ball offers and the guy who got it didn't Fcuk around and reaped the rewards. It was gone and monies changed hands within 2 hours of posting which I thought was really weird, I was expecting an issue getting it away with it being a non starter.New drop side MAN on order but not here for another 6 weeks

As per my other post - finally got myself a crafter , just going to have a look at it in person tomrrow, hopefully pick it up end of the week depending how long they take to ply line it etc. pre reg but worth the few k saving.

With most of those low ball offers I reckon even if you said yes, they'd still not turn up.
I sold our old horse box the other day, chap had sent me an offer over and I replied ok I'll accept but don't come thinking you get more off when you get here.....anyway true to his word he turned up as agreed, he opened his boot for the number plate and at the side of that was the payment in full. Its nice when you get a genuine buyer who knows what they are looking at and knows its worth too.
