It might be worth speaking to a hydraulic ram specialist . Describe the fault and ask them what could cause it . I’m wondering if the initial damaged valve block could have damaged something inside the ram . @mickthefitter or @CPS might shed some light on this . If you get some specialist advice it might give you some grounds to go back to them with .
I’ve seen old diggers cavitate like that before but never a new one.
