Everyone loves to hate the 8008 😂 I was on one the other day... I actually thought in some ways it was nicer than the 8010. Much quieter and uses less fuel.

Yes, do your own research and form your own opinions.

Lots of people rave about certain models purely because they like the brand.

I'm a cat man but would I buy a cat micro? No. Although they ain't bad however they are wacker neuson. Again good but not for me
For me it's ease of use and what it can do if you dread getting on the machine it's rubbish to me im not brand loyal but the tb216 I've used is a surprising machine moves ton bags around no problem

I haven't used a jcb for a few years so unsure on fuel all the bobcats I've used have been thirsty machines

The micro will astound your with what it will do on five litres.

I wouldn’t care if it used twenty to be fair, it turns out so much work. Can’t beat servo leavers.

Similar to the kubota then as thats very economical hence why my choice is between the two but pilot controls are a winner and would prefer it

To be frank mate, if you're making a decision on a micro digger purchase based upon fuel economy, you're looking at it the wrong way! Diesel cost is naff all compared to labour, be it a fiver or a tenner a day, and a micro digger saved shovel work.

Pilot controls are a smart choice in my book, and then it boils down to width. All micros with pilot controls bar the E10 are 750+ mm wide. Doesn't sound a lot, but you should see the scratches down the side of my E10! :ROFLMAO:

I like to look at all positives and negatives and i agree anything that will save my body is a go to for me it has to be able to go below 750 as i wouldnt call it a micro then more like a small mini and scratches no bother just call em battle scars

One thing I would consider is I'm not sure how well the E10 ages. I've driven a 1500 hour one and it was quite loose. To be fair I think it may have been abused but it's something to think about.

All micros tend to suffer with this- a lot less surface area on a 25mm pin than a 40mm one! Coupled with a lack of grease…

I was always told a good guide is a machine needs a partial rebuild at 1000hrs per tonne. So a 1500hr micro is fairly due for pins and bushes. Which I think is fair enough on such small pins

Id imagine replacement times would be reduced if the machine has been well greased

They are wear items designed to wear and be replaced to save the main machine components. Changing them is not a daunting task so as long as the bushes arnt worn through and starting to wear important bits it's not a problem but just a factor to bear in mind

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
They still wear mate. 25mm is tiny for a pin
I've re-bushed the Micron many times ... but they're designed to wear ... 25mm MDP :giggle: POP to do ... I've also had a couple of pins snap on it too, which is amazing, but the Micron, in the wrong hands, could very easily destroy itself, PDQ .. it's powerful for its size really and yeh, 25mm is a small pin considering the forces involved

My E10 is an ex-rental, on about 1200 hours now. It’s ready for a set of bucket pins/bushes. There’s sometimes a bit of a knock from the kingpost but I believe you can get that when new!

Finance prices are awful better off buying new for an e10 it seems and lead times are not good

Overall was equating to nearly 20k all said and done thats with only 10% down and full vat upfront waiting to hear back about new machine atm only around 255 a month for 5 years which isnt too bad on a fixed interest rate which is better as they are all going up just thought if i can get a brand new one for around 20k makes more sense but tell me if im wrong
