To be fair I find it takes a frustrating ten minutes normally minus some skin . There’s no way to get a socket or a spanner on so it’s a 1/4 of a turn at a time job.
Would socket head (Allan) bolts give you better access?

we have a beet chopper/shredder here that's, I'd guess, the next size down, full of plants.
Pam bought it at a dispersal sale 30 odd years ago -- from here, when the guy sold up and moved to Oz ... it came home in 2010, when we moved here. :)The guy who sold up, comes to visit us occasionally when he's over from Oz :cool:and spotted it first time here :giggle::cool:

That was my idea 👍 big oak top on it 🙂

That’s usually what he did, allthough they were all custom to clients spec so lots of variations. I think he’s got one on his own patio that’s got a glass top. Proper pieces of engineering, dread to think how many were sacrificed for tables (phosphor bronze bushes were a bonus!)

Fair view from today's job, feels good to be back in a machine after 2 weeks, 1 for holiday and then covid knocking me out.

Pretty sure that it would be looking out towards Mevagissey. Got a couple of days here ripping out some fences, flailing back and general tidying up.

Was there back at Christmas. Thought making the lady would have been a nice job to be involved with. Looks like some re-instatement job!
