Been an interesting, varied and often busy week. Ryan, our grandson, has been staying with us during the half term holiday.
He 's now in his second year at 6th form.....
We rocked up to do a garden makeover at a Brothers House - "Dave, can you just take up my old front lawn and put some stones down please? Just like you did on my extra parking area"
Ryan is taking down the fence...
Crappy lawn. Full of weeds and moss. Load directly onto the clay and stone subsoil
Brother Ron is supervising Ryan, Ron is an RN (retired) Chief Engineer.
Now write bloody good books
Ron Sewell
Personally, I simply buy his books (and others) on Kindle and read them on my devices
Let me know if you want know more about my writer friend and his books
So after stripping the old lawn and rubbish we laid some nice geotextile. Ryan's getting good at this now.
Then, tipped it on my recycle pile, before heading up the road for some 20mm stone.
As Ryan is studying geology, we had an in-depth discussion on the make up of the gravels
Job jobbed

"Dave, that's just what me and Sheila wanted"
Customer Care with Ryan and Mr. Makita screwing around
Best thing about this type of job it that the old Neuson goes on the tipping trailer.
This is then used for moving stuff out and then in again.
