Yes his special military operations has hi jacked the news - check the gov figures for the truth 😡
Looks like we are now into herd immunity territory now 😳
Gotta be careful that Sharon don’t get it. She’s shielding for the sake of her mum 🥰
I know there's no way to tell but it's possible her mum wouldn't even get it. I know of a fair few households where the one person you wouldn't want to get it and would think would be the one most likely to is the only one who hasn't had it 🤷‍♂️

Yep agree with that - but I was due to travel down with the labourer.
AND being responsible guy don't wanna speed the virus 😇
Latest GOV figures show that this last 7 days have seen a 52% increase
AND I feel fatigued by the end of the day - here's a clue:

BUT on a scale of 1-10, I'm on about 1.5 so I will survive. Thank goodness I'm fully jabbed 😚
Where you getting your temperature from 🤔😂

My effing sore throat 😬
It’s fairly normal elsewhere - so if I’d been probed at say an airport then I’d be ok 😳
My throat is on fire 🔥 and coughing up nice green phlegm 🤮
Well you did ask 🤣
Nice .. weirdest thing for us was loss of taste and smell. Still not right now . Worst thing is wine tastes shite now...litterally totally different to before . Saves few quid but used to like it.

Strange one that - at the moment my taste and appetite is OK. But this is only Day 3. Hopefully SWMBO will still let me drink beer the weekend :p

if you can stomach the taste Dave .... my taste and smell were completely shot in Jan '20, for a week, - everything tasted the same - total crap, even coffee, which I drink a lot of, which is why I'm sure I had it then. took weeks to get back to 'normal' ... completely wiped out for a 5 days, just sat in a chair coughing my heart out and struggling with an elephant sat on my chest  ....
hadn't really hit the news at that point and thought it was just a bad ???? whatever. ...
had just about recovered from it when the radiologist in the Heath put me on a ward for a week with Pancreatitis, after a heavy handed Ultrasound scan shifted a gall stone and blocked me pancreatic duct - instant pancreatitic indescribable pain :cry: - hello morphine :giggle: .... wasn't the best start to 2020  ...... to say **** all about the rest of the year :oops::oops::oops:

….here is Bramble - she is one our family 🥰
She is 8 years old and is such a cool cat. Follows us both everywhere and is very chatty.
Whenever we open a car door or boots she’s in there
Seen here patiently waiting for me to go out on site. Given the chance she’d some with me :giggle:

So going to have to change from RED to WHITE diesel soon on the machines that I use on site....
IMG_1619.jpeg

.......the stuff I have in my 'fuel store' has lasted me well and has nearly all gone.

BUT I now need to decide what the 'best practice' is for the following:
  • Do I need to clean out the machine fuel tanks?
  • Will it suffice to simply drain the tanks and filters
  • I don't use much so is it best to buy white from usual Supermarket forecourt pumps
  • If I rock up with a 200 litre drum on my Ifor with the digger am I permitted to fill it etc
It will be interesting to hear what other small operators will be doing.
Finally, is there a thread already going on the big April Fools Day changeover

you're allowed to carry a 205 drum unbunded. whether they'll let you fill it is up to them :( ... just buy at the cheapest source ATM Dave .... it's all gonna be o_Oo_Oo_O:censored:
from what has been published anything in machines can be used up, but then refilled with white ... run it low and keep a jerry with you perhaps to fill when it's down as far as you dare take it.
there will be red dye residue in the fuel system for years ... takes some getting rid of.
Storage is supposed to be cleaned out ... doubt many will bother and a drum is easy to get all but the last dregs out of ... it will also have dye contamination for some time.

Funny i saw discussion about the stain left from the red dye elsewhere and one guy said its not the dye that stains but the oil in the diesel 😄
Aye ok mate

Ok thanks Gra 👍
what I’ll probably do is drain out my machines and refill them with white 🤓
Then get a small stock here for day to day use
Always keep them full up to reduce condensation 😇
Don’t like fannying around on site refueling and can usually go 2 or 3 days.
Will probably carry a clean empty drum on the Ifor with the digger when I think I might be passing an HGV filling station
But something tells me that we will all be messing around with poxy Jerry cans fir while yet 🤣

My TMS180 Grove had a stack exhaust of my own creation .... if that was sat around on site on light work for a few hours a sticky residue would build up around the top of the stack, like a fly paper almost ... could watch it burn off when you got under way on the road and giving it the beans ... really cooked the stack, which was tall ..... I always put that down to the dye ... if a m/c has run red for years (which they all will have) the residue is going to show for a very long time, in the fuel system
