saw someone on FB last night asking 82+p a block ..... and had a yard full of 'em on pallets, presumably waiting to make a killing

" 4" concrete blocks. 72 blocks per pallet 1.3 tonne per pallet. Colletion Barry dock. We do not deliver. Fork truck here for loading. Anything less than a full pallet is 90p per block."

Can get 4" for 62p each but delivery would kill it can get 8 packs of 72 on our 4 wheeler but would need 500 for the day to run up and back to/from Monmouthshire

Have you checked that price recently I was quoted 66p but few months later it’s now 78p 1 mile from plant but delivered

Yes the landscaper I work for buys truck load at a time to stock his yard he said 62p is the current for 4 inch

Caught up with local timber mill this week ..insanity. folk going back on furlough as no stock.timber framers etc.
No end in sight atm he reckons as scandi mills now starting summer shutdowns.
Noticed big housing project near here never started ..anyone else noticed this? Not a bad idea if you can afford to wait etc.

If you've ever been you'd understand! A more robotic bunch of folk I've never met ..
Probably a bit harsh as I've done good mates over there ...but rules and regs are observed
Tbf I suppose it's their maintenance period...but we said exactly that...crack on lads etc
