Selby nut and bolt would be where I would go for something like that but it looks like it would be a phonecall job on monday
Re holiday homes, it's a tough one.... the other issue is blow in's.
Personally it's a two part thing. Holiday homes should have a f**k off tax levy'd on them that can have bills for the upkeep of the property levy'd against them. I.e If the property is taxed at £10000 Per year and you spend £8000 on the upkeep (Grasscutting, Cleaning etc) then you pay £2000.... Quick way of pumping a lot of cash into the local economy..... the Rich will always desire a second property to have for there whims, the requirement is to tax at a threshold that prohibits people from buying up small 2/3 bedroom homes to play with..... they are needed for locals. Big houses might as well belong to the wealthy and be empty.
The second issue is harder.... personally I think there should be a Tax levy'd on people moving between county's. Notably the East to nicer spots paticularly to retire/be a f****ng nuisance.
Stick a Levy of say 4k a person for the first two years..... with the get out that if your parents where born in or within 50 miles of said county you are exempt would make a big difference.
Allow local authorities to set the rates/requirements..... sorts a lot of problems.

aye ..... so I see Dylan ...... was in shirtsleeves all afternoon painting that shed, considering covering my neck, as the sun was so hot ... and that was with the chilly-ish south westerly breeze today too ..... my neck is a bit red tonight and it rarely burnsIts give it real cold coming in Gra. I was in shorts last week on roof
Similar here, everywhere had a covering early on, soon disappeared, followed by heavy hail and snow showers. We've got another inch of snow this morning happy Easter Monday
nippy's the word this morning ...... we had the hail too .. heavy with it .... different planet morning-shirt sleeves yesterday was soooome bit wild last night, early hours ..... hence seat chasing at five this morning......had to fly the canopy in like a kite ... no way could it be man handled ... just guided !Cracking clear blue sky here but tad nippy. Can't complain...for once
Would that be the same shed recently painted? Looks like a common garden spider painted tar/bitumen black. Maybe the cause of death?on the weird creatures front, with Kev's long eared owl post ..... any entomologists among us ? .... anyone seen one of these in their shed before .... that's my thumbnail to the left for scale ... 's big for a UK 8 legger ..... oh and dead ... found it in the middle of the shed floor yesterday ... appears to be armour plated (as spiders go)

would've had to get the air brush out to do that good a job on himWould that be the same shed recently painted? Looks like a common garden spider painted tar/bitumen black. Maybe the cause of death?
I think it is more likely a Cupboard spider better known as the false widow, although as you say that’s larger than normal for that spider they grow to about 10-15mmwould've had to get the air brush out to do that good a job on him
