So what was the story behind the KX 016 track? Looks like it parted rather abruptly.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
40mm depth in black with them being local and ok access was £35/m2 plus vat
what is it Giles? rubber crumb? how do they get a flexible bond to keep it feeling soft with resin or does the resin stay pliable??

Old boy said it just snapped, was on tarmac but fresh load of mot so he’ll have got some in tracks and forced it rather than releasing tension etc. Nightmare mot in rubber tracks on minis and 3 tonners.
Tracks were old and ready for replacing but it failed good and proper

Bigger crumb underneath with less resin so say 30mm then 10mm of a finer crumb with more resin

its Not soft more like there is some give if you fall on it doesn’t deflect when you stand on it etc

do you do resin bound aggregate as well? Get asked for it occasionally but stayed well clear so far

I ask as I used to have a customer who made very similar, but in 900 x 900 x 30mm tiles with crumb, for playgrounds ... don't think i have any left to take a pic of ... they were great for underfoot on concrete or kneeling/lying on ... we made him lots of moulds for the stds and special shapes for one offs ..
that was held together by some sort of rubber compound that got 'cooked' ... hence the steel moulds ...
the tiles were pretty tough and could be slung around, fairly unceremoniously, without ill effects, for some time ... once laid in situ I'd imagine they lasted a hell of a long time. the crumb was laid in the moulds and the bonding poured in over the crumb, then cooked to cure at a relatively low temp. ... they were a lovely surface ... can remember his name but not what he traded as ... was always very busy and we ended up with quite a few damaged/rejected tiles that weren't usable/sale-able ... lasted years and could even be driven over with the FLTs

there's a tile in front of the Kingsland in the pic below .... way better than standing on concrete, operating the punch

these were a playground surface tile Giles .... looked like tarmac when laid, but soft to fall on .... edges were perfect and could not see the joints when put down

Some of the Andover bodies have a hinged section through middle so it's quick and easy if you want to close it up for rollers

Bit much Weight on the draw bar wouldn't it
Only supposed to have 3.5t on the hitch I think
Possibly but it may only need say an extra 10inch to make it so the back door shuts so your not putting machine all the way back. Or you could sit the bucket on the blade to give the extra height so the back door closes. Either way I'd try it before I looked at altering the rear ramp.

Looks good Giles, I’d be cutting the middle out of the ramp straight away 👍🏼

Actually yeah, won’t the blade sit at the rear of the trailer and boom up front?
