Well to be fare, our government did the same over here, and what happened as with in the first 24hrs.......all beauty spots, beaches and parks were jammed packed with people just seeing it as payed holidays, so what do you expect??

Are you not LTD?Personal opinion is that live and let live would work if it rendered you dead almost instantly..... It's the 14 day incubation/carrier window that is the issue. You may be spreading it without knowing and that IMHO is why we need to keep social activities on the downlow.
But ultimately it's going to kill a percentage of the population no matter what you do.... NZ has been praised to the hilt but I do expect them to wind up with it again in the future
On another note the S/E grant is rearing it's head... It's a interesting thing regarding the eligibility of your business being "adversely" affected. I've got to say we have survived but lost two jobs for the moment due to the ESB (WPD) not doing new connections. Likewise we have had late payers galore and major supply issues...... But we have also had a grant.
Ultimately I think i'll apply.... going to end up paying for it

with the greatest respect Jim, I doubt that few families in the UK have not been affected by the Big C in some form or another ... it got both my parents and all of my grandparents .... ditto Pam's and several of my friends including my very best one. It's as indiscriminate as Covid19 ...... but it isn't contagious, and can't be caught by simply coming into contact or proximity with a person who has it
IMHDO Shaun, when they lift restrictions they're going to need all the hospital beds they've got for the second wave
I think this has been doing the rounds before it hit the headlines. It doesn’t find the old and infirm first, it has to work around the general population first! I think the 2nd wave will be less than the first!! But, I respect your opinion, we have both just that to go on. Opinions!
as I said Shaun ... death rates are only dropping because victims are fewer and farther between because everyone's been locked down ...because everyone who was spreading it has been locked down and yon virus has run out of travelling companions ..... for now !!
coming out of this is going to be as difficult to manage as locking the entire country down ... perhaps more so
