do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
You will be so disappointed in a cheapie
I bought one as very very rarely use a computer and definitely not for anything strenuous and it's terrible
Wasn't the cheapest but definitely budget and it was the biggest waste of money possible
As a stop gap have you considered a tablet
They can more than match the power of cheap laptops
Can use it anywhere so can take drawings outside with you
Built in camera so upload straight to the forum
Then get a proper computer when lockdown is over
too small for my limited/degrading eyesight Smiffy :( interesting idea about portability though (y)

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333555774215 would be a suggestion, £75 with 4gb ram and a 320gb disk.

I'd recommend 8gb ram at least 16 if you can afford it, and a SSD also. Should work with your existing screen on VGA or you can hook to a TV on the HDMI. Nice tiny box of tricks too.
that's in bloody Greece :oops::oops: ...
£169 + £18 delivery for the suggested top package Alex ...
how reliable are the ssd drives?
IIRC my screen has two connecting leads a blue multi plug and a white multi plug ... will have to look ..it's an HP pavillion f1903 .... same age as ol' steamer, but a nice screen and only one pixel dead
or I just buy another screen ... and use it just for net use .....
I have a lot in here and do not want to lose outlook express ... 'kin hate webmail .... just run both of 'em

also says in the spec blurb below it has PS2 mouse and KB ..... but can't see any sockets in their pic ??

Lemme see if I can find one in the UK. eBay slips s**t like that in! White will be a DVI connection Blue is VGA.

SSD's are very reliable in my experience.

SSDs should be much more reliable than a standard spinny hard drive

not that many Oh Great Att Collector of Northwich :p:LOL: .....
now where was I .... saved this earlier when everything went Pete Tong
not that many Oh Great Att Collector of Northwich .....

Cranab grapple, you've all seen how much use that got, rock handling

Kinshoffer 500mm clamshell, again well used on stoning up drains, etc,

Steinweg block grab, has moved a few packs of blocks about ...

was a gift at 100 quid (plus Mog's delivery charge) and has contributed much of its FLT att. frame to other projects. ..... there's an identical one on ebay ATM
s-l1600.jpg

SEC grapple, a cumminfa that was too cheap to leave .. blame Rory for that one,

Bomford flail, admittedly, yet to be used in anger, with various mounts, for all angles of dangle/reach

forks for under the VA-r, which also fit the blade and reach the floor for pick / carry with the blade.

adaptor for the above to convert from/to, blade or VA-r attachment

forks for the main 70mm hitch, which will also sit on the blade and carry, but won't pick from less than 12" ... so off a couple of pallets is fine

A 70 x 280 x 400 mm to B20 adaptor, for picking up the B20 buckets i have, with the Miller

a 70 x 280 x 400 mm adaptor to 80 x 320 x 450 mm, for the SEC

an 80 x 320 adaptor to hang under a 4.5t Kins. rotator to hang the SEC from

then there's me FLT mast for the hitch ...

grading beam ...

adapter pins for me 70 to 50mm atts to fit 'em under the VA-r hitch

bulk bag lifting frame/spreader

Plus of course ..... me VA-r, or tilty as they'm better known

it's moved on/progressed a bit since that pic was taken ... now has a modded Hill PUP hitch under it

anyone think of anything I've forgotten ?? ;)

So I go and fettle with pinkie pie this afternoon and come back to find this is now a tech forum! What happened to the engineer starting a cottage industry!,,😂😂😂😂😂
it would appear guys that I need some geeksville contributions ATM ... I got booted out earlier as it didn't like steam power anymore and if it wasn't for Ross and Rivmedia twiddling some settings to open the back door for me ... I'd still be out ... "normal service will be resumed as soon as possible" lads ;):giggle::giggle:
