he has some interesting sales patter and marketing ideas, for sure
having had a so so night, preceded by a loooong day, I wasn't the most receptive to his sales ploys, first thing today...... he does understand 'french' quite well though , cos the potential customer got the first cusses in

Would love one but the cost terrifies me along with the fact the customers won’t pay any more.looking back I half wish I’d got an engcon hitch and a set of buckets when I got my current ecr25 a year ago and specked a short dipper for it too.

This reply sort of need to be in the 'Show us your tilts' section or the current 'Bunfight' thread. You're not alone in voicing these concerns, Nick. Roll up on site and find you need a breaker or a dumper and most customers will understand that they have to pay extra because a) it's not part of the original quote and/or b) they know what one is and why it's needed. Try and explain the benefits of a tilty and they glaze over.

For the avoidance of doubt, for the most part shifting to tilty digging means you are shifting from day rates to priced work (at least for new customers who haven't seen one in action). Let's say you have a 5 day job at £250 a day with conventional digging. That's £1250 for the job. Unless you are up against someone who is desperate, you are all on a level playing field. Price it at that but do it with a tilty and you be finished by Wednesday afternoon. Customer happy because you are off site earlier, you've got two days in the garden or doing another job and your effective day rate is over £400.

On your machine, an Engcon head with three buckets using Engcon finance can work out at under £6 a working day, depending on the spec.

Funny enough everything around here used to be yellow, having worked for Volvo and at a lot of jcbs there was always something yellow around.

If you cut Mays in half he's red though..... Only a matter of time until Aiden convinces him Red and black would suit his machine better..... Your safe with Kitchen though Rob, cut him in two and the words Komatsu and engcon are there, unfortunately he is marmite flavour

I doubt you could cut Taylor as those £50 notes stuffed inside would blunt your knife.

Oh and BTW I have now had two customers request that they would like a engcon but the colors would clash with there dresses.... One would like a purple one.
