When I was travelling between Melbourne and Canberra back in 2007 I thought I would take the road via the highest town in Auz, can't remember what it's name was, however after multiple hours of driving through the bush got to a road closure with barricades up and a bit sign saying ' Road Closed Snow! ' I was stood there in disbelief I was in shorts Tee shirt and sandals. I don't think they would know what quantity of snow is required to close the road round by usShould probably be in the 'WOW' thread, but fits here just as well.
Sometimes rain radar only 'looks' like it's raining.

I’m going up on shed roof in the morning to put in a few more fixings if it’s not too frosty then , It’s absolutely necessary for me to travel to Strathconon to look at a job And then absolutely necessary to travel to the shop as advised by the government and stock up on 3 days worth of Guinness !People are saying high winds coming but I haven't seen any forecast. The news apparently telling people to only travel if absolutely necessary, I've got my alarm set for 5am because it's absolutely necessary for me to travel to Stirling tomorrow for a machine call out.
Have another look - that's not rain on the radar it's MothsI don't think they would know what quantity of snow is ...
