Hi,
Well gone back to the machine, turns out I'd wired the high beam to the side lights. After fixing that, the work lights would not turn on. I then started checking things based on the diagram.
Found out that the indicators are constantly at 12v (expected as the aftermarket relay doesnt seem to have held up).
The work lights had no ground at all despite having worked before. Pulled them out and the wiring on the inside had disintegrated. Touching the loom for the headlights might have disturbed things! Repaired them as best as I could. I spliced the loom and added a ground to the post behind the left hand work light.
The front lights work as they should. Now remains the mystery as to why the rear end isn't getting any power.
